我曾耐性等候耶和華，
他垂聽我的呼求。 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2他从泥坑里， 从淤泥中，把我拉上来， 使我的脚立在磐石上， 使我脚步稳健。He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.
3他使我口唱新歌， 就是赞美我们神的话。 许多人必看见而惧怕， 并要倚靠耶和华。And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4那倚靠耶和华、 不理会狂傲和偏向虚假的， 这人有福了！Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
5耶和华－我的神啊，你所行的奇事 和你为我们设想的计划，多到无法尽述； 若要述说陈明，不可胜数。Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
6祭物和礼物，你不喜爱， 你已经开通我的耳朵； 燔祭和赎罪祭非你所要。Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required.
7那时我说：“看哪，我来了！ 我的事在经卷上已经记载了。Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
8我的神啊，我乐意照你的旨意行， 你的律法在我心里。”I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.
9我在大会中传讲公义的佳音， 看哪，必不制止我的嘴唇； 耶和华啊，这一切你都知道。I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, thou knowest.
10我未曾把你的公义藏在心里， 我已陈明你的信实和你的救恩； 在大会中我未曾隐瞒你的慈爱和信实。I have not hid thy righteousness within my heart; I have declared thy faithfulness and thy salvation: I have not concealed thy lovingkindness and thy truth from the great congregation.
11耶和华啊，求你不要向我止住你的怜悯！ 愿你的慈爱和信实常常保佑我！求助的祷告
（诗70）
Withhold not thou thy tender mercies from me, O LORD: let thy lovingkindness and thy truth continually preserve me.
12因有无数的祸患围困我， 我的罪孽追上了我，使我不能看见， 这罪孽比我的头发还多， 我的胆量丧失了。For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart faileth me.
13耶和华啊，求你开恩搭救我！ 耶和华啊，求你速速帮助我！Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
14愿那些寻找我、要灭我命的，一同抱愧蒙羞！ 愿那些喜悦我遭害的，退后受辱！Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
15愿那些对我说“啊哈、啊哈”的， 因羞愧而败亡！Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
16愿一切寻求你的，因你欢喜快乐！ 愿那些喜爱你救恩的，常说：“当尊耶和华为大！”Let all those that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee: let such as love thy salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
17我本是困苦贫穷的，主却顾念我。 你是帮助我的，搭救我的； 我的神啊，求你不要耽延！But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
